Ray Wang 

Has performed throughout the musical centres and festivals in greater China areas. His performances have taken him also to Chicago, Cremona, Florence, Havana, Ho Chi Minh City, London, Luxembourg, Manila, New York, Saarbrucken, Segovia, Vancouver and Verona. In addition to as an active performer in chamber music, Ray also performed as soloist with Saigon Philharmonic Orchestra, Macau Orchestra, Solistas de La Habana,Cellistra, Taipei Symphony Orchestra, Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and the Guang Zhou Symphony Orchestra.
As a founding member of the Hong Kong Virtuosi Society, Rayalso serves as a music faculty member of the Baptist University and Chinese University of Hong Kong; other teaching activities included Fu Jen Catholic University of Taiwan, National Taiwan Normal University, Tainan University of Technology, Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Singapore and Music Schools in Beijing, Guangzhou, Xi’an, Wuhan and Shanghai.

Ray currently serves as Head of Strings and Head of Junior Music Department at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Hisstudents have enjoyed a wide range of successful careers in music and have won top prizes in the Heran Violoncello Competition inCzech Republic, the Hong Kong Competition for Young Asian Musicians, the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians, Schoenfeld International Strings Competition and the National Cello Competitions of China.

 Representing Hong Kong, Ray was elected as a Founding-Director of the String Music Society of the China Musicians Association in 2021.
