    All works shall be performed by the Competition participants by heart.

  • I (qualifying) round

    video recording — up to 30 minutes

    Solo and orchestral tour works are not permitted.

    1. Polyphonic composition
    2. Sonata or variations by one of the following composers: W. A. Mozart, J. Haydn, L. van Beethoven, F. Schubert;
    3. Two virtuoso compositions;
    4. A composition of a cantilena character.

    Parts of a sonata may be played as part of the qualifying round.

  • II round

    up to 30 minutes

    A free programme including one or more works by domestic and/or foreign composers.

    Parts of the sonata may be performed as part of the tour.

    2. A virtuoso—romantic composition of the participant’s choice.
